A dvocating for and serving Sarpy County residents with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities in our efforts to improve the lives of those individuals and their families. (Sarpy County - Bellevue, Offutt AFB, Papillion, La Vista, Gretna, & Springfield - are next door to Omaha). Parents, siblings, relatives, educators, care givers, professionals, and public officials have joined together with the disabled residents in the broad efforts to provide them the opportunities to choose and realize their goals of where and how they learn, live, work and play. Arc Sarpy is one of twenty local chapters under the "umbrella" of The Arc of Nebraska. The Arc of the United States leads these efforts across the nation.
